synopsis:

When it all goes horribly wrong, there is only one word that can adequately describe the horror: Fraught. A documentary animation exploring people’s most awkward, embarrassing moments.

In 2007 Fraught won the Best Australian Film at the Melbourne International Animation Festival, and has screened at festivals around the world.

Fraught combines real voices and real stories with digital rotoscoping to create a visually disparate, but thematically cohesive film. Each interviewee is animated in a different style, reflecting their character and their story.
